Who We Are

HOPE Inc. will open a whole new world for your child and family with wonderful and exciting opportunities.

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides family friendly sporting and recreational opportunities critical to the health and development of children and adults. HOPE Inc. will provide your family some exciting opportunities that you may not find in schools and most public education groups and organizations.

New at HOPE Inc. Adult programs in softball, curling, skiing, indoor soccer and sled hockey. We are excited to be able to offer programs to our adult community which have been well received and provide additional opportunities to the mobility challenged.

At HOPE Inc. we are family centered. We encourage everyone to play and participate together. We have developed programming for all abilities to create happy, positive and fun memories with your family. We at HOPE Inc. are here to help.

“Hope Inc. is the best thing that has happened to us for getting out for sports and other events. The kids and I really get excited when hockey season rolls around. What HOPE has done for us is awesome. They make it possible for my kids to do anything.”

Our Story

Raising a child who has mobility challenges can be very tough.  It can be a very isolating experience for the child, parents, and siblings.  That is why in December of 2005, Bill and Adair Grommesh developed and implemented a desperately needed year-round adaptive sports and recreation program called HOPE, Inc.  Raising their son Garrett (who was born with Spina Bifida), they understood what was lacking in our community.  Every child deserves to have sporting and recreational activities to participate.  What started out as just five families in December of 2005, has grown into a community of more than 150 families!

Every Child Deserves…

To play team sports…to dream of being on Broadway…to experience the thrill of victory, and yes, win a medal.
